Playing in the park!

I took off a little early from work yesterday and took the boys to the park. We had so much fun! Jonathan loves the park and is able to say it now. Benjamin said he wanted to go to the amarillo park but settled for the rojo park that is close to our house.

Hello Fall!

Hello everyone! We are staying busy here in The Woodlands. The boys are loving hanging out together. Jonathan follows Benjamin around everywhere. This morning Jonathan woke up saying, "Daddy?" (As he does every morning.) I said, "I'm sorry, Baby - Daddy already went work." Then he said, "Momma? Brudder?" He loves his brother!

Benjamin is learning the Pledge of Allegiance - he can say it almost perfectly. He is loving school!

The boys will be Batman and Robin for Halloween - stay tuned for those pictures!

Another fun week!

Benjamin had a great second week of school. He has already learned colors in Spanish. He also learned "Adios" and "Buenos noches!" I'm so proud of him.

We went to Bouncin' Bears today. Of course the boys had a blast!

Summer is over!

Well, it's hard to believe another summer is gone! We just celebrated Benjamin's birthday a few weeks ago, which was tons of fun. Benjamin just started pre-K last week, and he has loved it. He has already learned how God made the earth, he's learned a new song, and he's getting to know all his classmates.

Jonathan is talking more and more and still growing of course. He sure loves his brother. In the mornings, if Benjamin isn't awake yet, Jonathan will open his door, wave at him and say, "Hi!" Jonathan also loves his daddy very much and always asks for him when he's not around.

Lake Claiborne

 We went to Homer, Louisiana this weekend to visit with my friends Leslie and Danielle and their families. We had the absolute best time! We rode jet skis, jumped and played in the water, rode on the boat, ate some really great food, and just had so much fun.

Normally, Jonathan does not pose for pictures because I usually try to capture moments with my phone, and he always wants my phone. Well, I got smart and brought my camera, and he was posing all over the place.

 We visited Gran and Poppy before coming to the lakehouse, and Gran got Benjamin and Jonathan these matching robot shirts and matching dinosaur shirts. They love them!

 Benjamin had a great time riding on the tube with Makenzie. He might like her a little too :)

 Riding on the boat was so fun. But Benjamin would always ask to go back to the house so he could jump off the pier. And boy, did we jump! I realize I'm old and it's not that fun for me. But Benjamin poked his lip out and said, "But Mom, don't you want to jump?" And of course, I did.

 Jonathan had a hard day at ... play? Anyways, he was tired and fell asleep while riding the jet ski.
