Crawfish again! This was our second crawfish boil this year - this time on Memorial Day weekend. Thanks to all our friends who have served in the military!

Brandon had yet another surprise for me - a sushi cooking class for Mother's Day! We had such a fun time. We learned how to make spicy tuna rolls, miso soup, edemame, and nigiri. It was lovely!
We went to Gran and Poppy's house in Natchitoches. They had a baby pool that Benjamin played in. Brandon rigged up a house to sprinkle on him, and he had a blast!
We are all very excited for Easter! We are heading to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for our Easter service tomorrow.

First meal and not really a fan yet.
Well, last weekend was a sad one. We finally took away Benjamin's pacifier. We only let him have it at bed time, but it was past time to give it up after two and a half years. I had been telling him that he is a big boy and that big boys don't have paci's. I told him that one day he would have to throw it away. Saturday night, he said, "I throw paci' away!" So he threw it in the trash. I think he thought it was going to be a game because he said, "Paci' back?" and when we said no, he threw an enormous fit. It was pretty sad for the next two hours. This week has been tough getting him to sleep, but I just keep telling myself it will pass. I hope I'm right!
