Happy 4th of July!

Long time no see!

Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted pictures! Here are some from the last couple months. We've been staying busy of course. The boys are as fun as ever. Jonathan is talking a lot more - his favorite word is "car." I can't figure out why (maybe it's because they watch "Cars 2" a lot!) Benjamin has memorized his first Bible verse, which I think is awesome! We say Joshua 1:9 every night after we pray - "Be strong and courageous..." We'll be going to the 4th of July parade tomorrow, so hopefully more pictures to come real soon!

My Birthday!

We have had a busy week! Wednesday, I had a birthday lunch at Mission Burrito. Thursday, I had a lovely birthday lunch with Whit and Emily. Thursday night, the Widells, Moyers and Swanks all met at Central Park in Market Street for dinner and a concert. Afterwards the boys danced on the dance floor and spun each other around - so fun! Friday night we went to the Waterway and had dinner and the boys played at the splash pad. Today we went to the zoo. This afternoon we are going to a golf tournament to hopefully get a glimpse at Palmer, Nicklaus, Trevino, and Player. And tonight we are going to the Fresh Beat Band concert! Whew - we have had a blast!

A few random events:

We had a church picnic last week. The boys had a fun time hunting for Easter eggs.

Jonathan has been getting amazing at household chores, as you can see...

We went to the mall last week, and Benjamin insisted on riding the carousel!

Top Goat Party!

Adcetera (the company I work for) just created an app called Top Goat. It's an interactive children's book that's fun for kids! Well, to kick it off we had a launch party at our office. Petting zoo, pong rides, and face painting were all part if the fun!

Happy Easter!

So I had hoped to get some good pictures of the whole family, but it just didn't happen for us this year. Nonetheless, we had an amazing Easter service! I sang in the choir and Brandon helped with the kids again this year. This was our church's 3rd year to have our Easter service at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands.

A couple of small updates on the boys: Jonathan is saying a few words - ball, mama, dada, uh-oh, and his latest is car! Benjamin likes to talk in pirate and robot voices. He'll only answer if you say "Robot Benjamin" and/or "Pirate Benjamin" and he will correct you if you don't say it correctly. And just recently I'm just "Mom" to Benjamin, which I'm real sad about. What happened to "Mommy" and "Mama?"

They're growing too fast for me!
